VISITATION AND TOUR OPERATORS
Kay Brothers can host tastings in our cellar door for groups of up to 20 people. Groups larger than this size will need to make specific arrangements with our team and may attract further service fees. We request that a formal booking is made if your group will be 10 or more people. This also applies if your group intends to make use of our picnic area.
We require a booking fee with payment made prior to the visit. Tour operators may choose to pay this fee themselves or an individual can contact Kay Brothers to organise payment. A booking fee ensures we allocate a set time to host your group and confirms your attendance on the day. It is applicable to all guests and needs to be paid before the booking can be confirmed.
At Kay Brothers we take responsible service very seriously. The strict conditions of our Producer’s Liquor Licence oblige us to refuse service to people under the age of 18 years, those displaying signs of intoxication or unacceptable behaviour. In addition, we are not licenced to allow any alcoholic beverages brought in from outside to be consumed on the premises, including our picnic grounds.
Groups who may be intoxicated or generally unruly can and will be asked to leave as a courtesy to our staff and other guests. It is the operator’s responsibility to notify Kay Brothers in advance if they suspect any of their passengers may be intoxicated. Kay Brothers can organise booking refunds if operators choose not to continue with an intended visit due to a group’s behaviour or level of consumption.
We request that if your estimated arrival time varies from the agreed booking time that you call Cellar Door on (08) 8323 8211 to let us know as soon as possible. To avoid running into other groups tasting time we may choose to cancel your tasting if you are more than 30 minutes late. Also we require at least 48 hours notice to amend booking numbers or change arrival times.
In the case of damage, vandalism or theft Kay Brothers reservses the right to apply a damage/loss penalty to responsible individuals or in the case of tour operators, the responsible operator, for any damages or loss incurred.
We are open 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 11am – 5pm Weekends. We are unable to accept group bookings arriving after 3.00pm and vehicles licensed to provide alcohol on board will not be accepted after 12:30pm. Any intention to mislead or provide false information can result in Kay Brothers refusing to accept bookings from you in the future.
Kay Brothers reserves the right to amend policies at any stage but will endeavour to keep operators informed of such changes. Should you need to clarify any of our terms please contact our Cellar Door on (08) 8323 8211 or email@example.com
