2008 Eden Valley Riesling

The grapes for this Riesling were selected from one of the finest vineyards in Eden Valley and were hand-picked from the 60 year old dry grown vines to produce this demure elegant style. Can be enjoyed now or bottle aged for 2 – 3 years.
Appearance: Medium straw
Nose: Fresh citrus characters dominate with an underlying mineral assists in adding character.
Palate: Ripe lime and grapefruit is immediately apparent providing natural fruit and acid balance. As with the nose there is a genuine schist-like mineral complexity on the finish. Fantastic length is rounded out by a steely crisp finish and zesty aftertaste.
Bottled under Stelvin screw caps on the 18th July 2008. 11% alc/vol.
