2010 Moscato

$22.00

The Muscat Blanc (Frontignac) grapes were handpicked on the 8th February 2010. The fermentation process was stopped early to keep the natural grape sugars, resulting in a low alcohol of 6% alc/vol. To retain the deliciously fresh, fruity grape flavours the Moscato was bottled early (22nd March 2010) under stainless steel champagne crown seals.
Colour: Pale Straw. Nose: A combination of ripe apples, Muscat grapes, limes and honeysuckle. Palate: A light, bright, spritzy style with delicious flavours of fresh ripe, crisp apples and lime/citrus fruits with a lingering Muscat grape sweetness. Refreshing and playful with an excellent balance between fruit and acid. Best served icy cold and enjoyed as a young wine.
