2009 AMERY MOSCATO
Our third release of the very popular Amery Moscato. The Muscat Blanc (Frontignac) grapes were handpicked on the 2nd February 2009 from Block 9 of our Amery vineyard. The fermentation process was stopped early to retain the delicious natural grape sugars, resulting in a low alcohol of 5%. Ideally served icy cold to enhance the fresh, fruity grape flavours.
Colour: Pale straw.
Nose: Lemon rind, orange blossom, honey suckle and scents of the herb garden.
Palate: Lime, gooseberry, fresh sweet apples, with a grapey crisp aftertaste and a nice tingle across the tongue.
Bottled under stainless steel champagne crown seals on the 20th May 2009. 5% alc/vol
