Basket Pressed Cabernet Merlot

This classic blend of Cabernet and Merlot combines two of the great wine varieties. The estate grown fruit is picked from Block 22, situated across the creek from Block 6. The uniform aspect, gentle slope and complex soil structure allows even ripening and intense flavours to develop. The Cabernet lends it's structure, tannins and textured mouth feel to the blend while the Merlot adds aromatics and a fleshy mouth feel. A wine of vibrancy, balance and finesse that matches lovely with slow cooked meats.
